Bayern Munich To Splash £14m On Dimitar Berbatov, Arsenal Linked With Midfield Trio
French international believes he should be on club's shortlist...
well, it's a good news and good starting for united as well.. previously fergie interested to sign Keeper from CSKA Moscow..Anyhow, we should find for someone that have capability just like VDS or even more as the replacement for the current Goalkeeper.. with the reserved two keepers Ben foster and Thomas Kuszack.. hope we can be much better in order to prevent the opposite team from scoring by defending the goal.. just let VDS has his rest eventho, we need his services even more and more..
hey.. who said it so..[actually ramai wartawan sukan yang berkata begitu.. ada aku kesah] eventho chelshit showed impressive game late this morning..[7-0 over stoke city] it doesnt matter the title will goes to them.. Chelsea will face Liverfool this weekend.. Anything can happen as Liverfool also won over Burley last night.. While ManUnited will face with Sunderland this weekend.. ManUnited also has opportunity to get rid off Chelsea.. Only times will tell everything.. Until end of the season, anything can happend.. For Arsenal, they sholud forget about the title as last weekend they ended up with draw against Manchester City
and dun forget that problem bear by Chelsea regarding Wright Philip transfer matter that against the rules and law definetly.. If FA decides that some points will deduct from Chelsea, they will end with less point...
Hohoho.. I hope so.. Glory, Glory Man United..
Manchester United 3-2 Bayern Munich (4-4 on aggregate, Bayern win on away goals)
Goals: Darron Gibson 3, Nani 7, 41; Ivica Olic 43, Arjen Robben 74
Goal of the night
Manchester United-Bayern Munich (Nani, 41)
Brazilian full-back Rafael picked out Antonio Valencia with a quick throw-in and, after dinking the ball past Martin Demichelis with a sublime piece of skill, the Ecuadorian winger fired a low ball into the area that Wayne Rooney opted not to attack. With the Bayern defence utterly bamboozled, Nani arrived at the far post and found the net with a ferocious right-footed effort.
The key moments
Pre-match drama
The evening kicked off with an early surprise at Old Trafford, where Rooney was announced among the United starters just six days after suffering a seemingly serious ankle injury in the first leg. Disappointed by the performance of his charges in Saturday’s 2-1 home loss to Chelsea, Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson also made waves by leaving Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Dimitar Berbatov on the bench and both Ji-Sung Park and Gary Neville in the stands. It was therefore with a rejigged first XI that United took to the field and the changes bore fruit with barely three minutes gone. Rafael broke down the right before finding Rooney, who freed Gibson with a pinpoint pass and watched as his young Irish team-mate blasted beyond Hans-Jorg Butt from outside the area. Four minutes later, Valencia fired in a low cross for Nani to convert via an outrageous flick with his trailing leg. Butt was left helpless and Van Gaal stood stunned on the touchline as Old Trafford roared with delight. Bayern had yet to have their say however.
'We were very unlucky ... the Bayern players got Rafael sent off,' says Alex FergusonAlex Ferguson, Louis van Gaal and Edwin van der Saar on Manchester United's Champions League exit and the red card that changed the game
Nani: We're disappointed

Manchester United First Team Against Malaysian National Team
PETALING JAYA, April 28 (Bernama) -- English Premier League (EPL) club Manchester United (MU) will field their first team against the Malaysian national team in a match at the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil, on July 18.
The match promoter, Proevents International Sdn Bhd (Proevents), said however that the full list of the players coming under team manager Sir Alex Ferguson would be disclosed later.
"The team will arrive in Kuala Lumpur one day before the match and there will be a lot of competitions for the fans to win the passes or tickets to watch the training seasions and the match," Proevents managing director San Boon Wah told a news conference at Wisma FAM here Tuesday.
San said Kuala Lumpur would be their first destination for the Red Devils in their Asian Tour 2009 before heading to Indonesia on July 20, South Korea (July 24) and two days later in China.
The ticket prices would be announced in 10 days times and would range from RM50 to RM90.
San said that the tour to Kuala Lumpur would be great because the team had a big fan base here and the exposure would be worldwide and broadcast to almost 400 million households.
Meanwhile, Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) general secretary Datuk Azzuddin Ahmad said the match would be played at 5.30pm, at the request of the the Red Devils.
"We are looking forward to the match because it will be one of the best exposures for the national team against a quality team such as MU," he said.
Azzuddin said the list of player who would represent the national team would be decided by national coach K. Ra jagobal but the FAM promised that the match would be worth the price.
"Rajagobal will have at least 10 days training to select the best players and we have rescheduled a few of the Malaysian League matches," he said.
The tour is the Carling Cup and World Cup Club champions' fourth trip to Malaysia, after 1991, 1995 and 2001 when they hammered the Malaysian national team 6-0.
In July 2007, their friendly match in Kuala Lumpur had to be cancelled due to the clash of dates with the Asian Football Conferation (AFC) Cup. Kuala Lumpur was one of the four hosts for the AFC Cup.

ROME: AC Milan playmaker Kaka has rejected a record-breaking offer from Manchester City and the chance to become the world's best-paid footballer, saying the Italian club is where he belongs.
''All the messages coming my way said to choose with my heart, and at the end that's what the choice was. It was absolutely not economical,'' Kaka told Milan Channel late Monday after Italian Premier and AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi broke the news that the player was staying.
''Kaka is staying with Milan,'' Berlusconi told a TV show. ''For Kaka, money isn't everything. ... Kaka is and remains with Milan.''
Shortly after Berlusconi's comments, City issued a statement confirming it had ended negotiations with the Italian club over the transfer.
''Following a meeting in Milan today, the club felt that it was unlikely that the two parties could reach common ground for an agreement,'' City said.
''The discussions reached only a preliminary stage and the player was not involved at any time. No commercial terms were framed.''
Kaka's decision was greeted with scenes of celebration in Milan, but dealt a serious blow to City's plans of using its newfound wealth to quickly build a world-class squad after being taken over by an Abu Dhabi investment group during the offseason.
The news came following a full day of meetings between Milan, City and Kaka's father and chief adviser - Bosco Leite - to discuss a bid that was said to be 100 million pounds ($147 million, euro111 million).
City had reportedly been ready to offer Kaka a salary of nearly 500,000 pounds a week - by far the highest in football.
The 26-year-old Kaka is under contract with Milan through 2013

hahaha..so long Manchester City.. Kaka is not interested to migrate to M.City... Even though the Abu Dhabi willing to pay the highest salary in football Kaka still loyal with Milan.. Even if Kaka transfer to City, will City beat the big 4.. even after they brought in Robinho.. Rumors that also said Fergie also interested to buy Kaka... is just remain as rumors..
No doubt that Kaka will stay in Milan until his contract ends on 2013..

Form guide: Blackburn’s form has recovered remarkably since drawing with Hull, losing 4-1 to West Ham and 4-0 to Arsenal. Incey’s men have won their last three league matches against Newcastle (2-1), Everton (1-0) and Fulham (1-0). “We’ve got three wins in a row, so we’re improving,” says Ince. Similarly, United’s form has picked up of late – the Reds are now unbeaten in the last five in all competitions.
Ins and outs: United will be without Michael Carrick (ankle) and Paul Scholes (knee), while Wayne Rooney is considered a major doubt with an ankle problem. Blackburn are without midfielder David Dunn and goalkeeper Paul Robinson (both calf). Robinson will be replaced by Welsh international Jason Brown, who stepped in for Rovers’ recent 2-1 win over Newcastle.
Star men: You find it hard to look past Roque Santa Cruz, who scored in the win over Joe Kinnear’s men. He’s deadly in the box, but Blackburn have a number of dangerous forwards: James Derbyshire, Benni McCarthy and Jason Roberts. Dimitar Berbatov’s confidence will have been boosted by his two goals in midweek, while Cristiano Ronaldo is gaining match fitness and Carlos Tevez will be raring to go in Rooney’s place.

Sent off: Drogba
The match was ended by tears of Terry..
